honey suckle hearts

when life and love come to kiss
its a light too great to ignore.
exploding stars deemed coincidence,
fatefully ignite a pin drop floor.

its a sort of two toned starry salute,
solitaire's adieu in pixalated fireworks.
like two shadows courting dress, suit,
we danced where a tertiary dream lurks.

safe within a storm cloud sanctuary,
it only hurts when the moments over.
willpower warrior, clapping for my fairy,
I coaxed a kiss out of midnight clover.

yet however brilliant the vision begins,
reality waits with an icy dominion.
we tasted the night's stormy sins,
embracing the familiar battles in them.

since awoken to what we have done,
waking eyes see a promise broken mess.
but empowered by our own moonlit sun,
our eyes still whisper an unspoken success.
