sonnet 14
so big this heart beat hidden inside,
filled with memory and lullaby.
storm wind waves will be my bride,
fueling a promise I'll not be denied.
caught in a perpetual state of doubt,
winter held sway in an icy permafrost.
these things have a way of working out,
once the heart has paid casualty cost.
sunshine waits in that deserted plain,
where my future has come back to live.
realizing im running brings some pain,
But i never had the whole world to give.
Into the storm my body must finally flow,
Fears checked, heart rested, off i go.
